Job Overview: Evening Specimen Processor – Data Entry – Part-Time

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and caring individual to join our laboratory operations team as an Evening Specimen Processor and Data Entry Specialist. Key Responsibilities:

• Data enter lab requests, double-check test orders, and recognize when corrective action is needed, utilizing your strong analytical skills to identify and resolve any discrepancies.
• Work in a laboratory environment with biological hazards and PPE requirements, adhering to strict safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

Essential Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent, demonstrating a foundation in basic education and a commitment to lifelong learning.
• Strong reading, writing, and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret and understand complex laboratory data and procedures.
• Typing proficiency, including 10-key, with a high level of accuracy and speed, enabling you to efficiently data enter lab requests and test orders.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities with ease and poise.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2+ years of laboratory training or experience in specimen collection and processing, providing a strong foundation in laboratory operations and procedures.
• Data entry experience in a production environment, demonstrating your ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced setting.
