Responsibilities:
As a Legislative Intern, you will:
Meet with Members of Congress and their staff
Help organize university and community events
Draft letters to the editor and other advocacy materials
Conduct legislative research and draft policy memos
Support endorsed congressional campaigns through field organizing
Qualifications:
We’re looking for candidates who are reliable, detail-oriented, and organized, with strong written communication skills. An interest in Congress, foreign policy, or advocacy is helpful, but no prior policy experience is required.
This is a remote, volunteer position. While the role has flexible hours, interns who can work full time will have the opportunity to take more leadership on our team.
