<p>ECOVIS JRB Chartered Accountants is seeking a <strong>senior, qualified professional</strong> to join our advisory practice as <strong>Assistant Manager – Accounting & VAT</strong>.</p><p><br></p><p>This role is <strong>strictly for candidates with deep consulting experience</strong> in accounting and VAT (not audit).</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Minimum Experience Requirements (Non-Negotiable):</strong></p><ul><li><strong>10+ years of total professional experience</strong></li><li><strong>Minimum 5 years in the UAE in Consulting Firm</strong></li><li><strong>At least 5 years in a consulting / advisory firm</strong> (Accounting & VAT services)</li><li>Experience must be in <strong>accounting + VAT compliance</strong> — <strong>audit-only profiles will not be considered</strong></li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Ideal Candidate Profile:</strong></p><ul><li>Fully / Semi Qualified: <strong>CA / ACCA / CPA (or equivalent)</strong></li><li>Strong hands-on experience in:</li><li>End-to-end accounting & MIS</li><li>VAT return preparation, reviews, and compliance</li><li>Client advisory and implementation support</li><li>Ability to independently manage multiple clients</li><li>Exposure to Corporate Tax is an advantage</li><li>Strong client-facing and team-handling capability</li><li>Suitable to support <strong>outsourced / fractional CFO engagements</strong></li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Role Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Lead accounting and VAT engagements for a portfolio of clients</li><li>Review accounting deliverables, VAT workings, and compliance files</li><li>Support partners on CFO-level reviews (cash flow, MIS, controls)</li><li>Coordinate with CT and VAT teams on integrated advisory assignments</li><li>Mentor mid-level accounting and VAT team members</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Location:</strong> Dubai, UAE</p><p><strong>Type:</strong> Full-time | On-site</p><p><strong>Firm:</strong> ECOVIS JRB – UAE member of the 13th largest global consulting network</p><p><br></p><p>If you meet the experience criteria above and are looking for a senior advisory role beyond routine compliance, we’d like to hear from you.</p><p>📩 <strong>Apply:</strong> careers@ecovisjrb.ae </p><p><br></p><p> <em>(Please apply only if the experience requirements are met.)</em></p>
