Job Overview

In this full-time, remote role, you will be working as a Benefit Customer Service Representative, providing superior service to our clients and their members. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for responding to customer inquiries, resolving issues, and delivering personalized support via phone, email, and webchat conversations. Key Responsibilities

  • Quickly build rapport with customers and respond to their inquiries in a compassionate and respectful manner, consistently meeting commitments and exceeding expectations.
  • Customize your customer service approach to meet the diverse communication styles and personalities of our members, maintaining professionalism and diplomacy in all interactions.
  • Translate complex health and welfare and pension terms into simple explanations and instructions that customers can understand and act upon, demonstrating a deep understanding of our clients' plan documents and online knowledgebase tools.
  • Collect relevant information to determine immediate requests and anticipate future needs, handling confidential information with sensitivity and discretion in accordance with HIPAA and Data Privacy laws and company data security requirements.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a High School Diploma or GED and have experience in customer service or call centers, although various experience will be considered. Fluency in English is required, and bilingual candidates (Spanish or French) are highly valued, with a pay differential of $0.75 per hour. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks, and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
