Key Responsibilities

  • Answer phone lines, respond to customer inquiries, and provide timely resolutions to issues
  • Process customer policy change requests, complete Evidence of Insurance requests, and take premium payments from customers
  • Treat each customer contact as a cross-sell and up-sell opportunity, including financial products, to drive business growth
  • Return all phone messages promptly, share training and education knowledge with team members, and maintain knowledge of new products and services
  • Generate insurance quotes, provide exceptional customer service and support, and develop and maintain client relationships
  • Follow up with customers to assure satisfaction, respond to queries, solicit further sales, and solve or refer problems
  • Work independently and as part of a team, handling customer renewals, and maintaining accurate records and databases

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a range of skills and qualifications, including:

  • A Property & Casualty insurance license (required)
  • Farmers Insurance quoting systems experience (preferred)
  • A genuine willingness to learn, be intuitive and resourceful, and be coachable
  • Proficiency in multi-tasking, follow-thru, and follow-up, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Confident, self-starter who works well independently, with professional phone etiquette and great customer service skills
  • Problem-solving capabilities, ability to work well with other employees, and a positive attitude
  • Ability to tactfully handle stressful and difficult situations, handle customer rejection, and think outside the box

Compensation and Benefits
