About the Role

As a Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex, you will play a vital role in administering retirement plans that assist our associates in improving their financial well-being and achieving their long-term financial goals. You will be responsible for the daily administration of the 401(k) plan and other plans, working closely with the team to identify opportunities to enhance and improve our plans, simplify and streamline our processes, and assist our associates in effectively understanding and engaging with their financial benefits.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with senior leadership team and legal counsel to ensure accurate procedures are in place to maintain compliance with 401(k) associated regulations
  • Manage third-party administrators (TPAs) by researching and benchmarking new TPAs and business partners, providing analytical support and recommendations to senior management, and conducting on-site visits and audits
  • Manage digital eligibility files and discrepancies for all benefits plans to ensure they are administered and achieved in compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations
  • Manage plan design change projects for benefits systems by studying project needs, interpreting file layout requirements, and evaluating system barriers
  • Develop project plans and lead business customers through the project management process, ensuring adoption of changes and file requirements, and creating communication plans to announce project procedures to leadership, project team, and stakeholders
  • Demonstrate up-to-date knowledge and apply this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans, providing expert advice and guidance to others in the application of data and best practices

Essential Qualifications

  • Familiarity with balancing many activities concurrently and the agility to re-prioritize tasks as required
  • Project management experience, including data analysis, market research, and benefits program design
  • Adaptability, curiosity, and a willingness to improve programs, processes, and results
  • Excellent listening skills, critical thinking skills, and answer-articulation abilities
  • Strong analytical abilities, some knowledge of statistical analysis, and comfort working with large data sets
  • Knowledge of 401(k) plans or other retirement plans

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a remote environment and managing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
  • Experience with benefits administration, including plan design, implementation, and compliance
