**Responsibilities**
As a Mechanical Customer Service Expert, you'll be responsible for:
* Handling and carefully responding to all customer inquiries, providing timely and accurate solutions to their complex issues
* Providing excellent customer service through active listening, empathy, and a customer-centric approach
* Working with confidential customer information and treating it sensitively, maintaining the highest standards of data protection and security
* Aiming to resolve issues on the first call by being proactive, resourceful, and solution-focused
* Appropriately communicating with customers, using clear and concise language to ensure understanding and satisfaction
* Calmly attempting to resolve and de-escalate any issues, using effective conflict resolution techniques to turn negative experiences into positive ones
* Escalating interactions when necessary and appropriate, ensuring that complex issues are addressed promptly and efficiently
* Tracking all call-related information for auditing and reporting purposes, maintaining accurate records and providing valuable insights to improve our services
* Providing feedback on call issues, helping us to identify areas for improvement and optimize our customer service processes
**Requirements**
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
* Ability to work remotely in a virtual team environment, using technology to stay connected and productive
* 6 months of customer service experience, preferably in a mechanical or technical field
* Over 18 years of age, with a high school graduate or GED equivalent
* Ability to type 25 wpm, with strong keyboarding skills and accuracy
* Proven oral and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and solutions clearly and concisely
* Logical problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions
* Ability to navigate Windows operating systems, with a strong understanding of computer hardware and software
* Organization and work prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
**Nice-to-Haves**
While not essential, the following skills and qualifications would be highly desirable:
* Experience working with mechanical or technical systems, with a strong understanding of troubleshooting and repair techniques
