Managing Director, Credit Risk
A company is looking for a Managing Director, Credit Risk (2nd Line of Defense).
Key Responsibilities:
• Establish and maintain credit risk governance frameworks and reputed company guardrails
• Independently analyze portfolio performance and conduct end-to-end credit risk assessments
• reputed company and govern recession and credit tightening playbooks, providing recommendations during stress periods
Qualifications & Experience:
• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred
• 12+ years of experience in credit risk management, with at least 5 years in banking
• Minimum of 5 years in a management role leading a risk or credit-reputed company team
• Experience in designing and scaling an independent Second Line of Defense credit risk function
• Strong understanding of consumer credit products and proven experience in downturn preparedness strategies
