Engagement Type: Independent Contractor (1099) Hours: ~10–20 hours per month (ongoing) Location: Remote (Eastern Time preferred) Duration: Long-term / ongoing support Industry: New Home Construction / Real Estate (Sales-focused org) About the Role We are seeking an experienced Freelance Salesforce Administrator to provide ongoing support, optimization, and light enhancements to our existing Salesforce environment. This is a fractional, long-term engagement — ideal for a senior admin who supports multiple clients and enjoys improving real-world sales operations. You will work directly with sales leadership and operations to ensure Salesforce is clean, reliable, scalable, and aligned with how our sales teams actually work. Responsibilities Salesforce Administration User setup, profiles, roles, permissions, and security Page layouts, record types, validation rules, and field management Data hygiene, imports, exports, deduplication, and cleanup Ongoing system maintenance and health checks Reporting & Dashboards Build and maintain reports and dashboards for sales leadership Optimize existing reports for clarity, performance, and usability Partner with leadership to translate business questions into insights Automation & Optimization Design and maintain Salesforce Flows (preferred over Apex) Improve lead, opportunity, and follow-up workflows Identify and recommend process improvements Support & Collaboration Act as a trusted Salesforce advisor (not just task execution) Troubleshoot issues and provide practical solutions Coordinate changes with minimal disruption to users Provide light documentation and best-practice guidance Required Experience 3+ years of hands-on Salesforce Administration experience Strong experience with Sales Cloud Deep understanding of Flows, reports, dashboards, and security model Experience supporting sales teams in a revenue-driven environment Ability to translate business needs into Salesforce solutions Comfortable working independently with minimal oversight Nice to Have Salesforce Administrator Certification Experience in real estate, construction, or B2C sales organizations Light development experience (Apex, integrations, APIs) Experience working in fractional or contract roles Engagement Details Ongoing retainer preferred (monthly hours) Flexible schedule with reasonable responsiveness Compensation: Competitive hourly or monthly rate based on experience Direct relationship (no agencies) How to Apply Please include: Brief overview of your Salesforce experience Types of organizations you’ve supported Availability (monthly hours) Preferred engagement model (hourly vs retainer) Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
