You will report to the Manager, Software Service
The Opportunity
We are looking for a Software Applications Consultant to join our Software Service team. You will configure, deploy, and support JBT Marel software solutions for food processing customers. You will work closely with customers, project teams, and internal stakeholders to deliver reliable, well-documented software solutions and provide both on-site and remote technical services.
This is a hands-on technical role suited for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, customer interaction, and working with industrial software systems.
Main Responsibilities:
• Configure and deploy JBT Marel software solutions for Level 1 projects
• Support Level 2 project teams as part of larger implementations
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve software and integration issues
• Achieve on-site and remote technical services including upgrades, maintenance, and modifications
• Provide customer and internal training on JBT Marel software solutions
• Support server pre-builds and project preparation activities
• Create clear technical documentation and knowledge base articles
• Deliver services observing customer Service Level Agreements
• Be a technical contact for software connections and device integrations
Qualifications:
• Experience configuring and deploying industrial or enterprise software systems
• Knowledge of Windows operating systems, PCs and servers
• Working knowledge of SQL Server
• Experience with scripting
• You will troubleshoot network issues including TCP/IP, Ethernet, switches, and cabling
• Experience integrating devices using communication protocols
• Technical documentation
• Customer-focused mindset with the ability to explain technical topics
• Strong English communication skills, written and verbal
Nice to Have Qualifications
• Experience in food processing, manufacturing, or industrial automation environments
• Experience in a Service Desk or technical support role
• Familiarity with remote access tools and support utilities
• Experience delivering customer training
• Comfort working in a multicultural, organization
Travel & Location
• You will be remote and travel up to 70% of the time.

Compensation:
A base salary of $80,000 - $100,000 gross per year, compensation will be dependent on experience and qualifications
