**Responsibilities**
As an Experienced Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for serving as a direct liaison between our customers, sales representatives, and various departments within arenaflex. Your primary goal will be to provide exceptional service and support to our customers, ensuring that their needs are met and exceeded.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
* Processing orders received via fax, EDI, email, and by phone
* Verifying pricing and shipping dates within 24 hours after receipt
* Maintaining order guides and pricing in our software system
* Proactively communicating with production and warehouse teams to avoid potential customer shortages
* Tracking order fulfillment and communicating with customers regarding any shortages or delays
* Working with our accounting department to resolve credit issues and release orders
* Processing PO change requests, returns, and samples
* Handling customer issues and complaints by referring them to the appropriate department and logging them into our system
* Following up to ensure resolution and satisfaction
* Communicating with sales, supply chain, production, logistics, and warehousing teams on a regular basis to ensure our customers' needs are met
* Organizing work to meet deadlines
* Assisting the sales department in growing customer business
**Education, Qualities, and Skills Required**
To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following education, qualities, and skills:
* High school diploma required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
* 2-3 years' experience in a customer service role, preferably in the grocery, food, or retail channels
* Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
* Experience working within Sage X3 or other similar ERP systems is a plus
* Familiarity with EDI transaction sets
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure
* Works with a high sense of urgency
* Dependable and results-oriented
* Self-directed and able to work well independently or in a team
* Organized with high attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-through
* Above-average communication skills (written and verbal)
* Strong interpersonal skills
* Skilled in problem-solving, research, and time management
* Able to multitask
**Supervisory Responsibility**
As an Experienced Customer Service Representative, you'll be working independently, with minimal supervision. You'll be responsible for managing your workload and prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.

**Position Type/Expected Hours of Work**
This is a full-time hourly position, with expectations of 45 hours per week, worked during normal business hours. The business hours for this position will be based in the PST or MST time zones.
**Physical Requirements**
As an office-based role, this position requires:
* Sitting: Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk or workstation
* Typing: Frequent use of hands to type on a keyboard and operate a computer mouse
* Visual Requirements: Extended periods of viewing a computer screen and reading printed or digital documents
* Mobility: Occasional walking or standing, including moving between different areas of the office
* Manual Dexterity: The ability to handle office equipment, such as phones, printers, and copiers, and to file documents
* Communication: Clear verbal and written communication skills for interacting with colleagues, customers, and vendors
* Lifting: Occasionally lifting and carrying light objects, typically up to 20 pounds, such as files, documents, or office supplies
* Reaching and Bending: Reaching above shoulder height and bending to access files and office supplies
* Hearing: Adequate hearing ability to participate in meetings and teleconferences
**Compensation and Benefits**
The budgeted salary range for this position is $25-$32 per hour, with a 5% annual bonus potential. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
