Head of Legal – General Counsel

Job Description: • Manage all legal risks, ensure compliance with laws (data privacy, IP) • Provide strategic advice to leadership • Oversee contract negotiation (client/vendor), litigation, and internal legal team • Focus on regulatory changes, technology contracts (SaaS, licensing), and intellectual property • Draft, review, and negotiate complex IT contracts (SOWs, MSAs, SaaS, licensing, NDAs) • Ensure adherence to data privacy laws (GDPR, CCPA), cybersecurity regulations, and industry-specific compliance standards • Identify, assess, and mitigate legal risks • Oversee IP strategy, including patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets • Advise on legal implications of business decisions, M&A, new market entries • Manage internal and external litigation and regulatory investigations • Develop and implement legal policies, procedures, and training programs Requirements: • Law Degree (J.D. or equivalent), licensed to practice law • Extensive experience (10+ years), significant in-house counsel time, ideally in BPO, RCM and Healthcare companies • Strong business acumen, deep understanding of commercial law, IP, data privacy, and tech contracts • Good understanding of HIPAA and related areas • Proven ability to lead a legal team and influence senior stakeholders • Familiarity with legal tech (contract management software) Benefits: • Full health insurance including medical/dental/vision • PTO • 401k match Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
