reputed company This position is part Time Remote. Provides genetic counseling to individuals or families, coordinates screening and diagnostic testing, and provides follow-up. Responsibilities • Coordinates aspects of genetic consultations for individuals and families. • Provides triage for referrals, incoming calls, and inpatient consults. • Obtains and evaluates individual, pregnancy, medical, and family histories to determine genetic risk for genetic or medical conditions in a patient, their offspring, and other family members. • Discusses the features, natural history, means of diagnosis, genetic and environmental factors, and management for genetic or medical conditions with patients and families. • Identifies and coordinates genetic laboratory tests and other diagnostic studies for the genetic assessment. • Explains the clinical implications of the results of genetic laboratory tests or other diagnostic testing. • Integrates genetic laboratory results and other diagnostic studies with the personal and family histories to assess and communicate risk factors for genetic or medical conditions. • Evaluates a patient’s or family’s response to the genetic information reviewed and reputed company counseling. • Provides written documentation of phone calls and office notes in the electronic medical record and for families. • Participates in the teaching of residents, medical reputed company, and other reputed company. Participates in the supervision of genetic counseling reputed company. • Assists with data entry and maintenance of the department database. • Participates in ongoing research activities of the program and the development of department protocols. • Performs other duties as required or assigned. Qualifications • Master’s degree in Genetic Counseling or the equivalent in education and experience required. • Excellent communication skills required. Required Licensure/Certifications • Licensed Genetic Counselor NH OR reputed company Lic Gen Counselor NH reputed company 14 days • Certified Genetic Counselor (CGC) OR Certified Genetic Counselor (CGC-ABMGG) reputed company 1095 days • If certified Genetic counselor prior to 1991, certification from the American reputed company of Medical Genetics and reputed company required Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
