**Job Summary**
As an Experienced Customer Service Representative – Insurance Overpayment Resolution Specialist at arenaflex, you'll play a critical role in resolving potential overpaid claims on behalf of our insurance clients. This fast-paced, dynamic role requires exceptional communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. **Responsibilities**
As an Experienced Customer Service Representative – Insurance Overpayment Resolution Specialist, your key responsibilities will include:
* Politely and effectively communicating with medical, dental, and long-term care providers regarding identified insurance overpayments
* Persistent problem-solving and escalating issues as necessary
* Proactively making contact and responding both verbally and in writing with providers
* Maintaining and accurately updating records in our operating system, including points of contact, adding or creating notes, recovery stages, etc.
* Performing administrative duties, including creating notes, researching overpayments, sending emails/faxes, etc.
* Demonstrating a basic level of policies and procedures
* Positively responding to coaching, mentoring, and feedback
* Achieving daily, weekly, and monthly recovery goals and metrics
**Requirements**
To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess:
* A High School Diploma or equivalent
* Excellent computer skills
* Excellent interpersonal skills, oral and written communication skills
* The ability to work independently
* A detail-oriented, accurate, and precise approach to completing tasks
* Intermediate Windows and MS Office skills (mandatory)
**Nice-to-Haves**
While not required, the following skills and experiences would be beneficial:
* Experience in processing Long Term Care/Medical/Medicare/Medicaid/Dental or some type of insurance billing or auditing
* Call center experience
* Customer service experience
* Mainframe, 'green screen' experience or similar systems
* Expert knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
