Christian Therapist / Counselor (Remote, Independent Contractor)

We are seeking a dedicated Christian Therapist / Counselor to join our group practice as an Independent Contractor providing faith-based, Christ-centered counseling. This is a fee-for-service, per diem position that is 100% remote via telehealth. As part of our practice, you will receive full support, including billing services, an EMR system, marketing, networking, and collaboration with professionals across multiple disciplines. Responsibilities: • Provide at least 10 hours per week of Christian counseling (as appropriate and desired by the client) • Maintain accurate session records and clinical notes in the EHR system • Support clients’ spiritual and emotional growth by integrating Scripture, prayer, and Christian values into therapy (as appropriate and desired by the client) • Maintain confidentiality and uphold HIPAA regulations • Collaborate with fellow clinicians, prescribers, and faith-based resources to optimize client care • Maintain an up-to-date appointment availability schedule • Advocate for holistic healing by referring clients to additional resources when appropriate (e.g., pastoral counseling, Christian support groups, trauma-informed care, therapeutic practices, psychiatry, DBT, etc.) • Contribute to the team culture with innovative ideas to enhance faith-based therapy services • Continue professional and spiritual development through ongoing education and licensure maintenance • Maintain professional liability insurance • Report directly to the Practice Owner • Fulfill additional assignments as requested Requirements: • Active licensure: LCSW, LPC or LMFT • Master’s degree in Social Work, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field • Demonstrated experience in Christian Counseling and integrating Biblical values into therapy • Commitment to faith-based mental health care and a passion for helping clients grow spiritually and emotionally What We Offer: • Competitive compensation ($65 per hour) • Flexible scheduling—set your own hours beyond the 10-hour minimum commitment • Administrative support so you can focus on your clients • Opportunities for Clinical Supervision (for MSW, LSW, or LAC professionals—rates and availability upon request) • A collaborative, faith-driven team culture that supports holistic wellness About You: • You are passionate about Christ-centered counseling and integrating faith into mental health • You have experience, skills, and fresh perspectives to offer • You desire to honor God through your work and make a meaningful impact in clients' lives • You are creative, compassionate, and eager to serve How to Apply: If this role aligns with your faith, experience, and professional goals, we’d love to connect with you!
