Senior Spanish Bilingual Accounting & Payroll Specialist (QuickBooks Certified)

This is a remote position. Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM PST (1-hour unpaid break) Client Timezone: Pacific Time (California) Total Weekly Hours: 40 Hours Our client is seeking a bilingual Spanish-English accounting professional to join their dynamic team. Ideal candidates have CPA credentials (preferred), QuickBooks expertise (including Advanced and Payroll modules), and experience supporting small to medium-sized businesses. This role is perfect for someone with a startup mindset who enjoys mentoring, working with Latino business owners, and contributing to a fast-growing, mission-driven organization. Responsibilities • Provide comprehensive bookkeeping and accounting services to Latino business owners • Help clients navigate the English-speaking finance and business environment • Support business growth initiatives through accurate books and financial guidance • Assist with credit, financing, and strategic business planning • Serve as a senior team member and mentor to other accounting staff • Communicate fluently in both Spanish and English with clients • Help maintain the company’s core value proposition centered on client success Scope • Foundational hire for the accounting practice • Build and eventually lead teams of bookkeepers • Work directly with business owners generating $2M–$20M in revenue • Focus on the unique needs of Latino business owners • Significant growth and leadership opportunities as the company scales • Contribute to a mission-driven organization with social impact Requirements • CPA certification preferred • QuickBooks certifications required (Advanced and Payroll modules) • Fluent in Spanish and English • Experience with small to medium-sized businesses • Startup mindset and excitement about building new initiatives • Strong technical accounting skills with mentoring ability • Cultural understanding of the Latino business community • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment Independent Contractor Perks • HMO coverage (eligible locations) • Permanent work-from-home • Immediate hiring ZR_28109_JOB Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
