AI Agent to evaluate trading opportunities for a hedge fund

General Overview of our Firm We’re a small investment firm that has a pretty narrowly defined area of focus, primarily in the Corporate Actions - Event Driven space. We know what opportunities have worked for us over the last ~20 years and we know what characteristics we’re looking for in opportunities going forward - we just want to leverage AI to help us uncover more potential opportunities. General Description of the Job Create an AI agent that can look at new opportunities and compare those against our database of past opportunities (as well as a proprietary scoring rubric) to identify new opportunities that are a potential match. For example: A new article discussing a potential opportunity is posted on a website. The AI Agent reads the article and compares it to past opportunities in our database. If it looks similar to a past opportunity(s), it scores the new opportunity on a scale of 0 - 100 using a proprietary scoring rubric that we’ll provide. Once an opportunity is identified, we’d like to be notified if it scores greater than 50 (for example) and potentially be able to liaise with the Agent in a “teaching moment” to further refine / teach the Agent the type of opportunities we’re looking for. In addition to potential real-time notification of an opportunity (through some sort of chat interface), we’d also like either a daily or weekly summary of the potential opportunities that were found along with how they were scored based on our scoring rubric. If the Agent is able to have a “memory” / recall of past interactions with us, that would be ideal, though we don’t have the technical expertise to know if that’s possible or not. To start with we’d like be using the ideas that are listed on this website: https://seekingalpha.com/stock-ideas You can also click the Show Summaries button to see a quick summary of each idea. Once we get it working well with this website, we can look at expanding the sources of incoming information. What tools do we currently have? What tools do we have in mind? We have a dormant Windows PC that is an empty shell and can be used to test / build this project. We started with this as we’ve heard ClawdBot (aka MoltBot) might be a good way of building this and we wanted it in a segregated environment for security reasons. In addition to that, we already pay for GoogleApps for Business (so have Gemini Pro, Google Drive, Google Sheets, etc), but we’re open to using other products if you think they’d fit the project better. What are we looking for in an Upwork candidate? Someone who is very well versed in the newest AI tools / programming AI Agents / working with LLM’s / has experience with ClawdBot. Someone who communicates well, can write and speak English well. Someone who is available during the hours of 6 am and 1 pm Pacific Standard Time so that we can liaise in real-time rather than sending emails, etc that are on a 1-day lag. We have some basic technological expertise, but at times we’d want detailed instructions (potentially even video instructions with screenshots, etc) of exactly what settings need to be toggled on our PC, etc. In short, be able to communicate / teach us like we’re children. What is the time period on this project? We’d like to start ASAP and are ready to dedicate the time to provide more information and liaise with you so that the scope of project is as detailed as possible before you start.
