Embedded Firmware Engineer Needed for Secure Element Project
We are seeking an experienced Embedded Firmware Engineer to develop secure firmware for our Secure Element projects. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), Over-The-Air (OTA) updates, and Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS). Your role will involve designing, coding, and testing firmware solutions, ensuring high security and reliability standards. We are not looking for web or cloud engineers.
We need a senior embedded systems engineer who can own the firmware architecture for a production-ready device.
You will design and implement production-grade firmware including:
• Watchdog integration and fail-safe recovery
• Secure boot chain design
• OTA update system (dual-partition / A/B strategy with rollback)
• TLS client integration (mbedTLS / wolfSSL or similar)
• Secure element driver integration (hardware-backed key storage)
• Certificate provisioning & CSR flow
• Crash logging & persistent diagnostics
• Field-debug strategy (remote logs, safe recovery paths)
Must have real experience with:
• Embedded C / C++
• RTOS-based systems (FreeRTOS or similar)
• Secure boot implementation
• OTA update mechanisms that prevent device bricking
• TLS stack integration on MCU-class devices
• Hardware cryptography / Secure element integration
• SPI / I2C driver-level debugging
• JTAG debugging & hardware bring-up
