Part-Time K-12 EdTech Marketing Consultant
Position Overview:
We are looking for a long-term engagement with a marketing consultant to help us with strategy and content. Our priority areas are email marketing and website, followed by social media and AI/SEO. We have in-house staff to handle design, email marketing execution, and website content updates.
The ideal candidate will have experience in content development, brand building, lead generation, team management, and performance tracking. This role requires a deep understanding of the K-12 education landscape, the ability to design and execute effective marketing strategies, and a passion for making an impact in education through technology.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute content strategies for the K-12 sector across multiple channels, overseeing the creation of engaging and relevant content (blogs, case studies, webinars, etc.).
• Scale up marketing initiatives and lead marketing automation strategy and execution
• Enhance brand presence through thought leadership and strategic content initiatives, ensuring brand consistency across all marketing materials.
• Lead and support a cross-functional marketing team to meet objectives, collaborating with sales, product, and customer success teams to align marketing efforts.
• Develop and execute targeted campaigns to drive high-quality leads, implementing lead scoring and tracking systems to optimize performance.
• Set and monitor KPIs to evaluate campaign effectiveness and marketing performance, regularly reporting on metrics such as lead conversion, website traffic, and ROI.
• Stay current with K-12 EdTech trends and competitor insights, using data and feedback to refine marketing strategies and identify growth opportunities.
• Plan and execute successful product launches, coordinating with product, sales, and marketing teams to ensure smooth go-to-market strategies and messaging.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Education, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
• At least 3 years of experience in Marketing in K-12 education technology.
• Proven expertise in content creation, brand building, lead generation, and team management.
• Strong understanding of the K-12 education market and experience with marketing automation tools and CRM systems
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong leadership and project management abilities.
• Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze marketing performance and adapt strategies as needed.
• Experience with SEO, SEM, and digital marketing techniques specific to the education sector is a plus.
