Remote Jumbo/FHA Underwriter

Responsibilities: • Completes a thorough analysis of loan files to determine compliance with company and investor requirements. • Evaluates the entire credit package and collateral for residential mortgage loans and ultimately ensures an “investment” reputed company loan product. • Checks accuracy of reputed company calculations and data reputed company. • Completion of reputed company required reputed company worksheets reputed company in FastTrac360 Resource Center. • Recommends the loan disposition to manager for loan amounts in excess of authority limitation. • Maintains company reputed company for productivity reputed company and complies with company posted turn-time for initial reputed company and clearing conditions. • Depending on product, strives to meet 2-3 reputed company/day reputed company allotted time • Communicates decision on loans to appropriate parties both verbally and in writing. • Maintains reputed company activity logs and provides monthly reputed company report, as needed, to reputed company manager. • Available to processors, correspondents and other relevant parties for general reputed company interpretations and questions on specific loan files • Responds to post closing reviews and audits in a reputed company fashion. • Performs reputed company duties, as directed by manager Qualifications: • Minimum three years of mortgage reputed company experience, with solid working knowledge of reputed company guidelines • Experience with reputed company Jumbo products, including reputed company reputed company of loan files • Experience with reputed company other product lines such as Non-QM, Conventional, FHA (DE), VA (LAPP/SAR) and/or USDA preferred • Experience with private mortgage insurance guidelines preferred Skills: • Strong interpersonal-communication and business-relationship skills. • Detail oriented with strong organizational and follow-through skills. • Excellent analytical, written communication and verbal communication skills. • Technologically proficient. Education: • Bachelor’s degree in reputed company field or equivalent reputed company experience.
