Project-Based Virtual Assistant to Help Secure My First TEDx Talk (30-Day Sprint)

I am a community builder and creative placemaker focused on transforming overlooked spaces into thriving creative ecosystems. As Co-Founder of Zero Empty Spaces, I have helped activate 33 vacant commercial properties across four states into affordable artist studios, supporting over 800 artists. I also founded Choose954, a cultural storytelling platform, and CreativeZen Talks, a live talk series with 70+ events and 1,000+ attendees. I am now launching a focused 30-day sprint to secure my first TEDx talk. This is a project-based engagement with a defined scope, timeline, and deliverables. I am looking for someone strategic, proactive, and highly organized who understands thought leadership positioning and speaker placement. Scope of Work – 30-Day Sprint Phase 1: Strategy and Positioning (Week 1) • Refine 2 to 3 strong TEDx talk titles and positioning angles • Align talk concepts with current TEDx themes and trends • Audit and strengthen my speaker bio and positioning narrative • Create a master TEDx outreach tracker Phase 2: Research and Targeting (Weeks 1 to 2) • Identify 25 to 40 highly aligned TEDx events globally • Prioritize based on theme alignment, credibility, timing, and strategic value • Document application deadlines and organizer contact information • Identify potential warm introduction paths where possible Phase 3: Outreach and Applications (Weeks 2 to 4) • Draft customized application responses • Draft tailored outreach emails to organizers • Submit a minimum of 10 to 15 strong TEDx applications • Execute professional follow-up sequences • Track responses and status updates Final Deliverables • A fully built TEDx opportunity pipeline • 10 to 15 submitted applications • 25 to 40 vetted opportunities documented • Outreach email templates customized by event type • A refined TED-ready speaker positioning document Ideal Candidate • Experience helping clients secure TEDx or major speaking engagements • Strong research and persuasive writing skills • Able to think strategically about positioning and themes • Detail-oriented and deadline-driven • Comfortable taking initiative without needing micromanagement • Bonus: background in social impact, entrepreneurship, placemaking, arts, or economic development Project Timeline 30 days from start date Project-based compensation preferred When Applying, Please Answer Have you helped someone land a TEDx talk before?
