[Remote] Cybersecurity Data Analyst w/Splunk Proc Lang (SPL)

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Quadtec Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Cybersecurity Data Analyst to enhance their clients' cybersecurity efforts through data analysis. The role involves developing key performance indicators and providing insights from various data sources to improve mission and security processes. Responsibilities • Conducting analysis on data for improving and optimizing the client’s cybersecurity efforts • Developing and reporting on key performance indicators to measure effectiveness • Examining data from different sources to provide insight to agency, mission/security processes, and information systems • Designing, documenting, and implementing custom algorithms, workflow processes, and large data sets used for modeling, data mining, and research purposes • Analyzing security event data to provide possibilities for leadership Skills • Proficient experience with Splunk Search Processing Language (SPL) • At least 1 year experience in performing statistical analysis on large cybersecurity data sets • Demonstrate statistical analysis such as identifying the standard deviation of a large data set • Ability to use any tool such as spreadsheet software, database software, business intelligence and visualization tools, or programming languages and platforms (excluding LLM or AI-assisted solutions such as ChatGPT) • At least three years of experience in cybersecurity with at least 1 year of that experience in data analysis • Good communication and customer relationship skills Company Overview • Quadtec Solutions is an IT consulting company that provides services to government agencies and companies in the private sector.
