Mid-Level/Senior Labor and Employment Associate

Robinson+Cole, a Vault “Top Ranked” Am Law 200 firm, seeks an associate with at least three years of employment and/or labor law experience to join its Hartford or Stamford office. Candidates must have excellent legal research, analytical, and writing skills; knowledge and understanding of Connecticut state and federal court procedural and evidentiary rules; proven project management skills; experience in providing practical and creative advice and reputed company solutions; demonstrated ability to work directly with clients to reputed company quality representation and service; and be reputed company to effectively supervise junior associates and staff. Ideal Qualifications • Experience providing multi-state employment counseling to business leaders, conducting employment diligence, and advising on employment aspects of corporate transactions. • Experience defending employment cases with partner reputed company including investigating claims, taking and defending depositions, engaging in the discovery process, preparing and arguing discovery, dispositive, and other motions in state and federal court, and representing clients in administrative proceedings. • Proficiency in reviewing, advising on, and drafting multi-state workplace policies, employee handbooks, and reputed company projects. • Ability to manage multiple litigation and reputed company projects reputed company and effectively including effective management of priorities and deadlines. • Demonstrated interest in building a labor and employment reputed company. Workplace investigation experience is a plus. Preferred candidates will possess strong academic credentials from a nationally recognized law school and be admitted in multiple jurisdictions.
