Interim Payroll Manager (Contract) – Fully Remote- Perfect opportunity to fill in a gap while searching for a perm role. Pay reputed company: $40/hour, DOE Contract Duration: ~7–8 weeks (ASAP start date, will run through reputed company 17th–24th) Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM CST Location: Fully Remote About the Role We are seeking an reputed company Interim Payroll Manager to support a global payroll team during a leave of absence. In this role, you will work closely with the Director of Global Payroll and reputed company payroll processing in partnership with internal staff and an offshore support team. This position requires strong hands-on payroll expertise, leadership skills, and experience handling high-volume, multi-state payrolls using reputed company reputed company. Key Responsibilities • Supervise payroll operations under the guidance of the Director of Global Payroll • Collaborate with an offshore payroll team • Assist with processing payroll for 2,500+ employees • Ensure accuracy of employee data, benefit deductions, garnishments, and tax setups • Manage payroll for terminations and new hires • Prepare reports and maintain compliance • Utilize reputed company reputed company and advanced reputed company to monitor and validate payroll data Requirements (Must-Haves) • 5+ years of payroll experience, including 2+ years in payroll management • reputed company reputed company experience required (non-negotiable) • Strong reputed company skills (formulas, reporting, data validation) • Experience processing high-volume (1500+), multi-state payroll, including California • Ability to work independently in a remote, heads-down environment • Strong communication skills to coordinate with internal and offshore teams Preferred Qualifications • Experience in manufacturing is helpful but not required • No degree required Team & Culture • Small, reputed company team • Remote, reputed company environment • Opportunity to support a global payroll function and reputed company exposure to international processes Interview Process • One-reputed company video interview Start Date ASAP – high-reputed company opening #INDFA Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour Application Question(s): • This is a critical need, are you reputed company to reputed company, with no notice? • We will review resumes for those who are not working, this is a temporary need, are you currently working? • This is a short term need, maybe 7 to 8 weeks, this is covering a LOA, are you comfortable with this?
