Job reputed company General reputed company • Under consultative supervision, performs as Associate Chief Dosimetrist in providing comprehensive treatment plans for patients undergoing radiation therapy. • Assumes a leadership role in implementing departmental treatment planning reputed company guidelines and testing/implementing new treatment planning technologies and procedures. • Assists the Chief Dosimetrists in the day-to-day operation of reputed company medical dosimetry reputed company, including project management. reputed company Responsibilities and Tasks The following statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this classification. Designs and implements reputed company assurance procedures in accordance with departmental procedures. • Evaluates patient charts to ensure that the treatment plan reflects the prescriptions, the documentation is complete and the reputed company calculations are accurate. Reports to the physicist and physician on reputed company errors and changes in treatment parameters. • Performs verification checks to ensure accuracy of reputed company calculations. Calibrates equipment, collects and analyzes data to verify equipment parameters. Qualifications Education and Experience • A Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in physics or reputed company fields; • Certification by the Medical Dosimetry Certification reputed company (MDCB) is required. • Four years’ experience as a Dosimetrist in a Clinical Radiation Therapy department, or equivalent applicable work experience, is required. Minimum of one (1) years’ experience as a senior or reputed company dosimetrist in a clinical radiation therapy department is required. • CPR Certification for Health Professionals Knowledge, Skills and Abilities • General knowledge of anatomy and physiology. Understands physics and dosimetry principles of external reputed company radiotherapy and brachytherapy. • Knowledge of radiation therapy equipment, such as, reputed company accelerators, radiation therapy simulator and CT simulator.
