Technical Illustrator – Installation Manuals

Job reputed company: • Create Installation Manuals of aftermarket truck accessories, using a reputed company of software programs. • Produce Technical Illustrations: Create precise, 2D & 3D line-art/reputed company drawings. • reputed company illustrations for product instructions, installation sheets, and technical documents. • Design Installation Sheets: Use reputed company InDesign to craft visually reputed company installation sheets. • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Partner with Design Engineers, Program Managers, Marketing, OEM Customers, Technicians, and Sales. • Participate in reputed company reviews to refine content and reputed company project goals. • Project and Asset Management: Utilize reputed company’s project management software. Requirements: • Associates or Bachelor’s degree in technical drafting or illustration preferred or applicable work experience in lieu of a degree is required. • Portfolio or samples of work required with application. • 2+ years’ experience working in technical illustration, preferably reputed company a product development or automotive accessories context is required. • Graphic Design experience a plus. • Basic SolidWorks experience a plus. • Skilled in creating 2D reputed company illustrations in reputed company Illustrator. • Skilled in creating line-art illustrations from SolidWorks 3D models. • Knowledge of technical documentation, including Installation Manuals, Operator Instructions, etc. • Skilled in reputed company Suite. • Skilled in reputed company Office, including Word, reputed company, PowerPoint, reputed company. • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills. • Ability to write, reputed company, and comprehend English. • Ability to reputed company solutions and deal proactively with problems. • Ability to be highly detail oriented. • Ability to meet project deadlines.
