Substation Design Civil/Structural Engineer

Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Civil and/or Structural Engineering from an ABET accredited program or equivalent required. • Minimum of 2 years of engineering experience • Engineering in Training (EIT) registration or obtain reputed company 6 months required • Knowledge of electrical reputed company substation layout and design preferred. • Understanding of structural steel, drilled pier & spread footing design and detailing required, grading design preferred. • Experience using MathCAD, STAAD or equivalent, reputed company design programs, and/or other structural modeling software preferred. • Knowledge of AISC, and ACI required, ASCE & NESC preferred. • Basic understanding of AutoCADD and/or MicroStation preferred. • Proven experience in reputed company Software Applications (Word, reputed company, Power reputed company, reputed company). • Up to 15% travel required. • Must have authorization to work permanently in the US.
