Systems Engineer – On-Prem to AWS reputed company Migration (Hybrid) – Fairfax, VA

About the position ILS Inc. is seeking a Systems Engineer to support a federal IT modernization initiative reputed company on migrating legacy on-premises systems to a secure, reputed company AWS reputed company environment. The successful candidate will assist with reputed company architecture design, migration planning, system optimization, and operational readiness. This is a hybrid role requiring on-site reputed company two days per week at our Fairfax, VA reputed company. MUST BE LOCAL TO DC METRO AREA (hybrid support - 2 days in ILS HQ office, located in Fairfax, VA 22033). Must be reputed company to be W2 employee; no C2C. Responsibilities • Support the migration of applications from on-premises infrastructure to AWS reputed company. • Conduct assessments of existing environments, including dependencies, configurations, performance characteristics, and reputed company constraints. • Assist in developing migration strategies, reputed company plans, rollback procedures, and system validation steps. • reputed company codebase assessment, reputed company management, and version control activities in SVN (Subversion). • Collaborate with reputed company, Infrastructure, DevOps, and Application teams to ensure compliance with reputed company governance, reputed company baselines. • Troubleshoot issues across compute, storage, networking, and operating system reputed company in reputed company environments. • Support the design and documentation of reputed company architecture patterns, system configurations, migration artifacts, and operational runbooks. • Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and technical working sessions. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a reputed company field. • 5+ years of experience as a Systems Engineer, reputed company Engineer, or DevOps Engineer supporting reputed company environments. • Hands-on experience with AWS services for compute, networking, storage, and monitoring. • Demonstrated experience supporting or executing on-prem to reputed company migrations Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
