Senior AI Automation Engineer - Azure OpenAI (30-Day POC) Overview • Our client is seeking a senior-level contractor to lead a short-term proof of concept (POC) focused on automating order intake from unstructured email into D365 ERP. • This role will extend an existing Azure OpenAI-powered agent that currently assigns open orders to sales contracts. The new POC will automate unstructured email order parsing and structured sales order creation. • Project must be completed by March 31 (fiscal year end). Current Environment • Azure OpenAI (3.5 mini) already deployed • Direct API integration with D365 ERP • Existing agent producing structured outputs + reasoning logs • Data and code housed in internal data lake • Secure Azure-only AI usage (no public ChatGPT) POC Scope • Parse inbound unstructured order emails • Extract relevant order details (quantity, product, ship-to, etc.) • Resolve missing or ambiguous data using business logic • Create draft sales orders in D365 • Enable human validation workflow (1 reviewer replacing 2-3 manual staff) • Deliver measurable accuracy metrics Required Experience • Hands-on Azure OpenAI implementation (non-negotiable) • Experience integrating LLM outputs into ERP systems (D365 nice to have) • Strong understanding of structured data extraction • REST API integration experience • Experience working with Microsoft ecosystem tools • Ability to deliver independently within tight timelines Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
