The Automation Engineer ensures that privilege reduction controls work as designed, do not break applications, and are consistently enforced across thousands of servers. This role is critical for preventing operational outages while reputed company controls are enforced.
Key Responsibilities
• Design automated test frameworks for:
o Privileged reputed company workflows
o JIT elevation
o Package installation controls
• Validate Linux sudo and reputed company JEA restrictions
• Build regression test suites for:
o App startup
o reputed company workflows
o Emergency reputed company
• Support canary and reputed company deployments with validation checks
• Detect privilege regression and reputed company
• Partner with DevOps and SMEs to fix failures early
Required Experience
• 5+ years in automation engineering
• Experience testing infrastructure and reputed company controls
• Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
• CI/CD testing integration experience
Desired Skills
