Job Title: ServiceNow Architect/Consultant Location: 100% Remote (Must be local to Baltimore, MD They will also consider remote, but consultant will need to travel a little bit on site. Travel will be paid for by the client. Maybe two times per year) Duration: 12+ Months Working in close partnership with our client-facing Practice Leader, you will be the primary technical authority for the account. You won t just build to a specification; you will define it. You will be responsible for assessing complex business challenges, developing clear technical trade-offs, and building Proofs of Concepts (PoCs) to validate designs. You will also play a vital role in mentoring our Academy-trained developers, ensuring our delivery meets the highest architectural standards. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Evaluation: • Act as the technical authority to assess how ServiceNow ITOM, • CMDB, and Asset Management solve broad enterprise problems. • Design & Trade-offs: • Develop multiple architectural paths for project initiatives, presenting the pros and cons of each (e.g. "Out-of-the-Box" vs. "Customization") to help stakeholders make informed, data-driven decisions. • Rapid Prototyping: • Get hands-on to build • Proofs of Concepts (PoCs) • that prove feasibility and architectural integrity before handing designs to the development team. • Technical Mentorship: • Guide and upskill our newly trained ServiceNow Developers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and best practices. • Technical Governance: • Set the "North Star" for platform health, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, and minimize technical debt. Basic Qualifications: • 12+ years of ServiceNow experience, with a clear transition into Architecture or Lead Advisory roles. • Architectural Mindset: • Proven ability to look beyond a single module to evaluate impact across the wider IT landscape. • Hands-on Prototyping: • Experience building PoCs to validate complex designs and "sell" architectural ideas. • Technical Depth: • Deep knowledge of ServiceNow ITOM (Discovery, Service Mapping), CMDB, and Asset Management and related best practices. • Certifications: • Certified System Administrator (CSA) and Certified Application Developer (CAD) are required. Preferred Qualifications: • CIS certifications in CMDB and CSDM, Discovery, Service Mapping, HAM, or SAM. • Certified Technical Architect (CTA) (nice to have). Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
