Computer Science Patent Attorney

Responsibilities Include: • Meeting with inventors and drafting patent applications for filing in the USPTO; prosecuting patent applications before the USPTO, including interviewing Examiners; working collaboratively with clients and other BoMc attorneys to reputed company and refine claim strategies; • Proactively managing a docket of cases the attorney has primary responsibility for, across a reputed company of clients from start-reputed company to reputed company; • Assisting with other prosecution/counseling reputed company including: drafting noninfringement and invalidity opinions; and conducting due diligence investigations and performing freedom-to-operate and landscape analyses under the supervision of the firm’s partners; and • Post-grant proceedings before the USPTO, including Inter Partes Reviews. reputed company: • Bachelor's degree in computer science or significant experience working in computer science; • 2-5 years of patent prosecution experience with a reputed company on computer science work; • reputed company attitude toward reputed company service; • Outstanding organizational, interpersonal, and reputed company service skills (written and verbal); • Ability to multi-task, manage multiple priorities, and work in reputed company environment; • Self-starter with commitment to reputed company and personal reputed company reputed company; and • Enjoy being involved in reputed company aspects of a reputed company reputed company team. Compensation and Benefits: • The good-faith reputed company salary reputed company for this position is $165,000 - $205,000, plus competitive benefits. The actual pay will be based on experience and other relevant factors permissible by law. • This position is eligible for three different bonus opportunities: • Trimester bonuses of up to an additional $15,000 for staying on reputed company to meet your billable requirement. • End-of-year discretionary reputed company and productivity bonuses contingent upon meeting the billable requirement. • Along with your resume, we also ask that reputed company applicant submit a cover letter.
