AWS Cloud Automation Specialist

Why consider this job opportunity • Salary up to $140,000 per year • Opportunity for career advancement and growth within the organization • Work remotely with a preference for candidates residing in British Columbia • Engaging and dynamic projects focused on cloud automation and infrastructure • Collaborative work environment within Agile or Scrum teams Responsibilities • Lead the development and continuous improvement of cloud landing zone and automation capabilities • Design, build, and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to enable secure and consistent deployments • Support onboarding processes, including account provisioning and standardized infrastructure patterns • Enhance monitoring, alerting, and cost‑management capabilities • Prepare technical documentation and provide structured knowledge transfer Qualifications • Hands‑on experience with AWS in large or enterprise environments • Experience with Terraform and Terragrunt • Experience using GitHub and CI/CD workflows such as GitHub Actions • Strong documentation, communication, and presentation skills • Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments Preferred Qualifications • Experience working with provincial or federal government • Experience with AWS Direct Connect • Exposure to Google Cloud Platform or Microsoft Azure • Experience supporting hybrid or multi‑cloud architectures • AWS certifications such as AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or Solutions Architect We prioritize candidate privacy and champion equal‑opportunity employment.
