Role and Responsibilities of Auto Center Advisor:
You will support Tire and Battery Center operations by maintaining safety standards, delivering high-quality member service, and ensuring efficient service workflows. This role focuses on service coordination, product knowledge, and collaboration to meet member needs.
• Maintain facility and sales floor safety by following safety policies, conducting safety sweeps, and reporting unsafe conditions
• Organize, stock, zone, and merchandise the Tire and Battery Center sales floor according to company standards
• Present merchandise by stocking products, setting up displays, pricing items, and securing high-shrink merchandise
• Monitor tire and battery orders, assist with installation appointments, and communicate lead time changes or cancellations
• Assist members with tire maintenance, repair services, and product recommendations
• Use Sam’s Garage and product knowledge to recommend suitable tire and battery options and explain warranties
• Drive sales and service excellence by communicating the value of products and services and collaborating with associates
• Prioritize service workflow in service bays by managing appointment queues and coordinating with team leads and technicians
• Demonstrate knowledge of safety compliance, tire and battery guidelines, TPMS systems, equipment operation, and point-of-sale processes
• Leverage digital tools and handheld devices to support service planning, decision-making, and team engagement
• Serve as a brand advocate by modeling quality service and assisting with training and development of team members
• Operate equipment safely, complete vehicle service requests, process transactions, and maintain required documentation
• Comply with company policies, ethical standards, and operational procedures
• Complete work assignments by collaborating with managers and associates, adapting to change, and identifying improvement opportunities
Required Skills and Experience of Auto Center Advisor:
• Valid state-issued driver’s license
• At least 18 years of age
Compensation and Benefits of Auto Center Advisor:
• Hourly wage range of $18.00 to $25.00 per hour based on a standard work schedule
• Actual hourly rate will meet or exceed applicable minimum wage requirements
• Premium pay opportunities ranging from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour based on schedule, facility, season, or work performed
• Performance-based bonus awards may be available
