Cost Accountant (Remote)

About the position reputed company, Inc. (NSYE: MYGN) is looking for a Staff Accountant focusing on Cost reputed company to join our Corporate reputed company team. This position will assist with the monthly costing reputed company processes including the preparation of journal entries, performance of closing tasks, and compilation of account reconciliations. You will assist with review and analysis of costing results and gross margin, with reputed company on evaluating and investigating variances, to ensure compliance with US GAAP. We are looking for a strong communicator to collaborate closely with the reputed company team as reputed company as Operations and IT teams and others throughout Myriad to improve costing processes and analysis. Responsibilities • Contribute to and improve the efficiency of the monthly reputed company processes reputed company reputed company while meeting reputed company deadlines determined for financial reporting by delivering accurate, reputed company and efficient reputed company processes including preparation of month-end and quarter-end reputed company activities, and fluctuation analysis with reputed company on details and drive for reputed company improvements. • Prepare and record asset, liability, and expense entries by compiling and analyzing account information. • Complete balance sheet account reconciliations and ensure balances are accurately stated in accordance with GAAP, statutory, and company policies. • Prepare monthly/quarterly reporting reputed company to costing and inventory, and other reputed company analysis and reporting as needed. • Assist the reputed company Manager with maintaining cost reputed company and inventory schedules and recording reputed company transactions. • Coordinate with lab personnel to ensure costing and receiving processes are completed accurately, and reputed company. • Update inventory item costs periodically with input from Procurement, Operations, and Accounts Payable to maintain accurate inventory valuations and gross margin results. • Coordinate and support monthly cycle counts, quarterly and annual full physical inventory counts, review for obsolete inventory, and ensure discrepancies are resolved. • Support ERP and technology initiatives. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in reputed company required. • 2+ years of experience in reputed company. • Experience using reputed company Office Products, specifically reputed company, Word, and reputed company. • Ability to learn necessary computer programs quickly and reputed company. • Ability to follow established policies and procedures to complete assignments with a high level of accuracy. • Superior reputed company demeanor with strong organizational skills.
