Job Overview The Contract Product Efficiency Analyst will focus on driving product efficiency improvements by identifying and implementing strategies that reduce production costs and minimize waste. This includes analyzing processes, identifying inefficiencies, and recommending changes to optimize resource use and enhance overall product quality. They will work closely with the Technology and Business teams to define and document requirements and lead the accurate and timely execution of projects and enhancements. They will utilize questioning techniques, mortgage industry knowledge, system knowledge, and testing knowledge to drive accurate business requirements for projects and system enhancements. The candidate will be responsible for defining and prioritizing the product backlog, ensuring that the development team delivers high-quality features that meet the needs of our customers and business stakeholders. The candidate should have a strong understanding of communication, problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate with team members and stakeholders. What You’ll Do Evaluate current operational processes to identify inefficiencies. Recommend and implement changes to enhance efficiency, improve system functionality, and drive revenue Contribute to the creation and maintenance of the product roadmap, balancing long-term strategy with short-term needs Develop and maintain prioritized product backlog aligned with business objectives Identify and define sales and operational product requirements through detailed user stories and clear acceptance criteria to deliver to Technology partners Analyze test results to ensure technology changes align with business needs and oversee the implementation of changes to ensure they are executed as planned and deliver the expected benefits Partner with stakeholders, business SMEs, vendors, and technology team members to define project scopes, objectives, schedules, requirements gathering sessions, training needs, P&P updates, and implementation goals drive product enhancements and projects Track, manage, and document all project or enhancement related tasks in the project management software utilizing agile methodology and holding responsible parties accountable for adherence to delivery deadlines Create and deliver Training and Communications for impactful system changes as needed What We Need Contract position- 1099 only All DH employees must be able to work cooperatively as team members Bachelor’s degree •2+ years of Business Analyst, Quality Analyst, and/or Project Management experience 2+ years of Mortgage or Financial Industry experience (non-QM a Plus) 2+ years of experience with Quality Assurance Testing Experience using Ellie Mae Encompass or other Loan Origination System Experience with Asana or other PM software Strong foundation in Project Management Methodologies, especially Agile Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing to both business units and development team members Strong understanding of a technology ecosystem and how the systems work to support business goals Ability and willingness to learn quickly Must maintain thorough documentation and show excellent attention to detail Strong ability to task switch effectively and manage multiple priorities Experience with MS Office products (Excel, OneNote, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio, and Word) Works well in a collaborative environment that is high energy and drives towards goals Ability to be adaptable and manage ambiguity from the business units Aptitude to continually learn new areas of the business, technology, and the PMO Adhere to all corporate policies Compensation for this contractp position will be $40 to $65 per hour depending on experience level.
