Accounting & Auditing AI Trainer, $90-$110/hour

As an AI Trainer, you'll play a hands-on role by analyzing and providing feedback on data to improve LLM performance, helping ensure that the next generation of AI technology is accurate and trustworthy. We are seeking a skilled Accounting & Auditing professional to work as a project consultant in our AI Labor Marketplace. This is not a full-time employment position - you will be engaged as an expert project consultant on a contract basis. Location: U.S.-based experts only Engagement: Part-time, project-based expert evaluation work Work Type: Remote Consultants will evaluate, annotate, and provide expert feedback on AI-generated accounting, auditing, and financial reporting content. Tasks focus on professional judgment, technical accuracy, and real-world applicability across GAAP- and IFRS-aligned scenarios, including audit procedures, financial statements, tax considerations, and internal controls. This is a project-based consultant role. Consultants will be paid on a per-project basis; hourly rates are estimates based on anticipated completion time. Consultants control their own schedule, provide their own tools, and may simultaneously provide services to other vendors/employers (subject to those vendors' allowances) Responsibilities Contributors will: • Design real-world, domain-specific accounting and auditing prompts that accurately simulate day-to-day professional tasks • Create realistic and complex scenarios intended to challenge or expose limitations in advanced AI models • Develop criteria-based evaluation rubrics with clearly defined categories (e.g., technical accuracy, judgment quality, standards alignment, completeness) • Review and assess AI-generated model responses against the defined rubric • Identify gaps, errors, or flawed reasoning related to GAAP/IFRS, audit procedures, controls, tax considerations, or financial reporting • Produce a "golden response" that reflects how a senior accounting or audit professional would correctly and clearly complete the task • Provide structured, professional feedback to improve model reasoning, accuracy, and real-world applicability Expected Outcomes • High-quality expert evaluations of AI-generated accounting and audit content • Clear, actionable feedback aligned with professional accounting standards • Improved AI performance on complex financial reporting and audit use case Qualifications • 10+ years of professional experience in accounting, auditing, or financial reporting • CPA required; strong hands-on experience with GAAP and/or IFRS • Background in public accounting (Big 4 preferred) or corporate finance/audit functions • Prior experience as Senior Accountant, Audit Manager, Financial Reporting Lead, Auditor, Tax Preparer, or Finance Lead • Comfortable exercising senior-level professional judgment independently Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
