**Job Summary**
As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll play a critical role in developing and maintaining our software applications, working closely with our Customer Order Management Operations team to ensure seamless execution and delivery. You'll be responsible for designing, developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining software applications, as well as mentoring less experienced engineers and contributing to the growth and development of our team.
**Key Responsibilities**
* **Delivery and Execution (50%):**
+ Develops, tests, deploys, and maintains software applications with a clear understanding of the value they provide

+ Helps grow junior engineers by providing guidance on modern software development frameworks and leading technical discussions
**Requirements**
* **Minimum Qualifications:**
+ Must be eighteen years of age or older
+ Must be legally permitted to work in the United States
* **Preferred Qualifications:**
+ 2-4 years of relevant work experience
+ Experience with front-end technology such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks, an object-oriented programming language (preferably Java), relational or NoSQL database technology, cloud computing techniques, CI/CD tools, modern software design patterns
+ Strong foundation in Linux/Unix systems administration
+ Demonstrated ability to work in an operations-focused role, including handling incident calls and running standard operating procedures (SOPs)
+ Familiarity with Linux, Tomcat, and GCP environments
+ Interest in DevOps principles and operations, with a passion for contributing to both development and operational aspects of the team
+ Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to interface effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
+ Experience in effective data modeling with both relational and NoSQL databases
+ Experience with security frameworks for user and services authorization and authentication
+ Experience with creating and executing unit, functional, destructive, and performance tests
+ Experience with modern debugging and root cause analysis techniques
+ Experience with version control systems
+ Experience in designing systems for high availability, disaster recovery, performance, efficiency, and security
+ Exposure to developing technical roadmaps, including work estimation, refactoring, and modernizing legacy systems
* **Minimum Education:**
+ The knowledge, skills, and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job
