Position Overview

The Customer Service Associate at arenaflex serves as the face of the brand, ensuring every shopper leaves with a smile and a sense that their needs were anticipated and met. Key Responsibilities

  • Delightful Guest Interaction: Greet each customer and patient warmly, assess their needs, and proactively offer assistance, product knowledge, and personalized recommendations.
  • Efficient Checkout Service: Operate designated cash registers with speed and accuracy, process purchases, handle cash, credit, and digital payments, and manage voids, refunds, returns, rain checks, and exchanges.
  • Product Promotion & Upselling: Identify opportunities to suggest complementary or higher‑margin items, driving incremental sales while ensuring relevance to the shopper’s preferences.
  • Merchandise Management: Keep counters, aisles, and shelves clean, well‑organized, and fully stocked; perform inventory counts, price checks, and stock rotation using the first‑in‑first‑out (FIFO) method.
  • Visual Merchandising & Display Construction: Build and maintain promotional, seasonal, and sales displays; execute planogram resets and revisions as directed by shift leaders.
  • Asset Protection: Apply arenaflex asset protection procedures to identify suspicious activity, minimize shrinkage, and safeguard company resources.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Verify age‑verification requirements for regulated products such as alcoholic beverages and tobacco, ensuring full adherence to state and local laws.
  • Food Safety & Placement: Separate raw and pre‑cooked foods, adhere to shelf‑placement policies (e.g., raw meats on lower shelves), and rotate consumable items to maintain freshness.
  • Photo Services Support: Provide courteous assistance in the photo area, operate digital passport photo stations, poster printers, and creative machines, and promote photo‑related add‑ons.
  • Online Order Fulfillment (Web Pick‑Up): Monitor Picture Care Plus orders, accurately pick items, and deliver orders to customers as they arrive, ensuring a seamless omnichannel experience.
  • Store Maintenance: Contribute to interior and exterior upkeep, ensuring the store remains clean, orderly, and inviting for every visitor.
  • Team Collaboration & Culture: Model and share best‑practice service habits—such as eye contact, courtesy, and proactive assistance—with colleagues, fostering a unified service culture.

Essential Qualifications
