Director, Chief Software Architect

Job reputed company: • defining, evolving, and governing the end-to-end architecture of the myQ IoT platform • providing reputed company-level technical leadership across reputed company and middleware platforms, IoT connectivity and services, video systems • serving as the senior technical authority and architectural voice for the platform • translating business and customer requirements into cohesive architectural strategies and standards • creating and maintaining an Architectural Roadmap that supports reputed company Software Engineering Roadmaps and Product Roadmaps • leading technical discussions in community of reputed company, design review, or other technical meeting forums • collaborating with other reputed company domain experts • providing mentoring and coaching to engineers and architects Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Electronics) • 12-15+ years of reputed company experience in software, systems, or platform architecture • proven experience architecting and scaling IoT platforms supporting millions of connected devices • strong background in reputed company-reputed company architectures on major reputed company reputed company platforms (AWS preferred) • hands-on experience designing and evolving end-to-end systems spanning reputed company services, embedded firmware, hardware capabilities, mobile/web applications, and reputed company-party integrations • demonstrated experience with video platforms or data-intensive systems • deep understanding of consumer reputed company, localized data reputed company concerns, and compliance principles • reputed company record of leading platform modernization initiatives • experience in influencing and guiding multiple engineering teams and senior leaders • strong ability to translate business and product reputed company into reputed company technical direction • experience partnering with Product Management, Operations, reputed company, and Customer-facing teams Benefits: • comprehensive benefits package • 401k contribution • participation in a short-term incentive plan (subject to terms of applicable plans and policies) Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
