Property Casualty Reinsurance Analyst

We’re seeking a seasoned Reinsurance Analyst who brings deep expertise across operations, accounting, and finance within insurance and reinsurance organizations. This role provides the opportunity to work at the center of a collaborative and financially sophisticated team, ensuring sound reinsurance structures and alignment between underwriting, finance, and strategic partners. Key Responsibilities • Liaise directly with reinsurance brokers and underwriters to manage treaty placements. • Evaluate and maintain financially sound reinsurance programs for program business. • Analyze and review treaty reinsurance contracts for compliance and risk alignment. • Serve as the internal bridge between the Reinsurance and Accounting departments. • Assist in securing and maintaining financial instruments such as Letters of Credit and Trust Agreements. • Support the structural design and implementation of reinsurance programs. What Makes You a Great Fit • 12–15+ years of relevant experience in insurance/reinsurance operations, accounting, or finance. • In-depth understanding of reinsurance processes, including underwriting, claims, financial controls, and systems. • Expertise in financial analysis of reinsurance underwriting results. • Experience designing and implementing complex reinsurance structures. • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Risk Management, or related field. • Advanced credentials such as ARe, CPCU, or Master’s degree strongly preferred.
