Position Overview
Location: City of Industry, CA (full‑time, weekly pay cycle)
Compensation: $21.00 per hour (paid weekly) – plus a comprehensive benefits package that starts after 30 days of service.
Core Responsibilities
- Administrative Excellence: Manage shift‑level paperwork, maintain organized filing systems, and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to keep all documentation accurate and up‑to‑date.
- Customer & Contractor Interaction: Serve as the primary point of contact for customers and external contractors, answering inquiries about shipment times, load statuses, product cuts, and damage claims with professionalism and speed.
- Export Coordination: Process export orders, complete required export paperwork, generate export labels, and keep meticulous records to ensure compliance with international shipping regulations.
- Returns Management: Utilize the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to log and process product returns, maintaining clear and complete paperwork throughout the cycle.
- Pallet Management: Order CHEP and white‑wood pallets, reconcile pallet counts, and investigate variances to guarantee the availability of proper packaging materials.
- Metrics & Reporting: Update shift and area metrics in the WMS, providing real‑time data that supports operational decisions and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Work closely with transportation coordinators, inventory specialists, and carrier partners to resolve issues and keep the supply chain moving.
- Flexibility & Overtime: Embrace additional duties as assigned, including overtime when demand spikes, ensuring the warehouse meets its performance targets.
Essential Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted).
- Prior experience as a clerk or coordinator in a warehouse, distribution center, or similar logistics environment – particularly in transportation coordination, inventory control, shipping/receiving, or carrier communication.
- Demonstrated ability to make rapid, reliable decisions that reflect both customer expectations and arenaflex standards.
- Strong written, verbal, and organizational communication skills.
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
