Regional Network Expansion Leader (Virginia)
Over the next 25 years, the United States is expected to experience an extraordinary wealth transfer, with an estimated $84 trillion being passed from one generation to the next by 2045, with over $2.3 trillion of that wealth transfer projected for Virginia. The National Christian Foundation (NCF) is a leader in the Christian giving space - helping families develop wise giving strategies for current and future giving. NCF is strategically positioned to guide Christian families, who have been entrusted with much, to make a lasting Kingdom impact as they plan for the stewardship of their wealth.
Headquartered in Alpharetta, Georgia, National Christian Foundation (NCF) is a 501(c)3 charitable grantmaking ministry that provides creative giving solutions and inspires biblical generosity among Christian families, advisors, and charities. Since 1982, NCF has received over $33 billion in contributions and made over $25 billion in giver-recommended grants to more than 90,000 charities. NCF is an industry leader in accepting gifts of appreciated assets such as stocks, real estate, and business interests, which enable givers to save taxes and maximize charitable gifts. We combine a faith-based approach and like-minded local presence with the support and expertise of a trusted national organization. Learn more at www.ncfgiving.com.
NCF is expanding its presence into Virginia, a region rich in historic faith, vibrant charitable engagement, and deep-rooted Christian values. From the spiritual communities of Northern Virginia to central and southwestern hubs-each area reflects both growth potential and commitment to Kingdom generosity. With its varied blend of urban centers, mission-aligned partnerships, and expanding philanthropic culture, Virginia is an ideal place to collaborate with advocates, donors, faith leaders, and advisors. Our vision for NCF Virginia is to foster a movement of Biblical generosity that resonates throughout Northern Virginia, the coastal plain, Blue Ridge, and beyond-partnering with givers who want to steward significant resources for Kingdom impact now and for generations to come.
We are seeking a leader to plant the Next Generous NCF Community. A proactive, relational, and faith-driven leader to pioneer the establishment of a new National Christian Foundation (NCF) office in the Northern Virginia area. This visionary leader will serve as a convener for generosity, building the foundation for a thriving community of givers, advocates, and advisors aligned with NCF’s mission to inspire Biblical stewardship and generosity.
This is a pioneering opportunity to lay the foundation for a generosity-driven community. Over the next two to three years, the successful candidate will establish the key pillars - building relationships, assembling a board of champions, and fostering a network of advisors - creating a launchpad for sustained impact. Following the successful establishment and foundational groundwork, this position will be assessed for its potential to evolve into a long-term leadership role within the NCF Virginia office. Alternatively, as part of NCF’s overall growth strategy and expansion goals, this position may be considered to pioneer the establishment of a new office as NCF continues to expand.
The ideal candidate will be a proactive, visionary with an entrepreneurial mindset and a strong background in leadership, relationship management, business development, and marketing/channel development. An established, respected leader in the Northern Virginia area with existing networks and relationships who can inspire others to join in the mission of Biblical generosity.
Just as church planters lay the groundwork for thriving congregations, this leader will plant and nurture a generosity movement in Virginia - uniting people of faith, stewarding resources for Kingdom impact, and setting the stage for a lasting legacy of giving. Committed to excellence, with a passion and calling for the work of NCF.
The successful candidate will demonstrate the following strengths, characteristics, and qualifications, fulfilling these responsibilities either directly or by collaborating with local advocates.
This position is remote with 20% home-office work and 80% external meetings with community champions, givers, advisors, and related partners. Primary travel throughout the Virginia area, with additional travel to NCF functions in Alpharetta, GA. and other cities as needed is required.
