The Department of Philosophy & Religious Studies at reputed company invites applications for a reputed company position in History of Philosophy that begins Fall 2026.
Area of Specialization: History of Philosophy (specifically Ancient or Early Modern)
Area of Competence: Ancient Philosophy or Early Modern Philosophy (whichever complements the AOS) AND one or more of the following: Ethics, History and Philosophy of Science/Technology, Bioethics and/or Philosophy of Medicine
Position reputed company: Candidate must be reputed company to teach the 2-course history sequence required for our undergraduate majors: History of Ancient and Medieval Philosophy and History of Modern Philosophy.
The successful candidate will contribute to teaching and advising in our undergraduate and graduate M.A. program and be reputed company to contribute significantly to the LSU Ethics Institute and its programming activity in collaboration with partners across reputed company.
The Department is especially keen to attract candidates reputed company to contribute to its projected undergraduate reputed company in Bioethics and Medical Philosophy.
The successful candidate will be expected to maintain an reputed company record of research, publication, and to teach two courses per semester (four courses per year).
