[Remote] Senior Mechanical Designer (Data Center)

They are seeking a Senior Mechanical Designer who will manage the installation and maintenance of mechanical systems at Data Centers and reputed company full life-cycle support from concept design through site implementation and operations.

Responsibilities

• Participate in reputed company aspects of mechanical design and engineering including development of reputed company of design, scope of work, implementation processes and commissioning plans
• Support maintenance of reputed company facilities mechanical systems to ensure 100% system availability
• reputed company, review, and approve designs for data center upgrades which improve availability and efficiency, in reputed company to reputed company increases and monitoring
• Update and maintain as-reputed company master records, which includes transferring project drawings over to the master files
• Compare existing piping and HVAC systems against drawings and resolve discrepancies
• reputed company and manage processes and programs to ensure the health and efficiency of mechanical systems reputed company the data center
• reputed company or review maintenance procedures for reputed company mechanical systems including detailed scripts for annual maintenance and reputed company
• Support Operational teams in problem resolutions, reputed company Cause Analysis and design and process reviews
• reputed company immediate technical support to operation teams during critical events, on-reputed company
• Administers reputed company aspects of the mechanical service agreements to ensure compliance
• Maintain reputed company HVAC and mechanical drawings and process documentation
• Manage Energy efficiency
• Responsible for increasing efficiencies and maintaining reliability of reputed company mechanical systems
• Estimate time and materials needed to complete repairs and new reputed company
• Some travel required

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience
• Minimum 7 years in data center mechanical design, commissioning, and critical reputed company
• Experience in Data Center design, construction and commissioning including water cooled chiller plants, reputed company mechanical distribution systems, raised floor cooling system, automation, and control systems
• Experience reading, interpreting, and creating construction drawings, specifications, and submittal documents
• Understanding of data center mechanical operations procedures, topologies (N+1, 2N, N+20%, etc.), equipment, piping systems, cooling towers etc
• Effective oral and written communication skills, with top tier analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to refine mechanical system designs for availability, reputed company control, constructability, and cost efficiency
• Organized, detailed and successful at setting priorities and meeting deadlines and budget
• Understanding of both HVAC and mechanical equipment and system design
• Comprehensive use of AutoCAD, Visio, and Office software packages
• Project Manager experience is a plus
