Remote position (Local candidates preferred) Brief reputed company: • The reputed company Conservation and Environment Delivery Center (CEDC), supporting the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP), is seeking an reputed company reputed company Developer to assist in the modernization and migration of legacy reputed company Forms applications to reputed company APEX running on reputed company Database 19c. • As part of an reputed company modernization initiative, legacy systems reputed company on older reputed company Forms technology are being upgraded to modern, secure, and maintainable reputed company APEX applications. This effort supports mission-critical environmental and regulatory systems and ensures long-term sustainability, improved performance, and alignment with reputed company BIT standards. • The selected candidate will play a key role in converting reputed company Forms applications to reputed company APEX, enhancing system performance and reputed company, and ensuring alignment with modern development practices. This position requires strong reputed company PL/SQL development skills, deep knowledge of reputed company RDBMS, and experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. Key Responsibilities: • Analyze and understand the architecture, data structures, and integrations of existing reputed company Forms applications. • Support the migration and conversion of reputed company Forms-based applications to reputed company APEX. • Design and reputed company modern APEX user interfaces in collaboration with technical reputed company. • Assist in establishing UI/UX design standards for reputed company APEX applications. • reputed company and maintain PL/SQL stored procedures, functions, packages, and advanced queries. • reputed company data pulls, data analysis, and scripting to support reporting and system enhancements. • Review existing documentation to understand system requirements, architecture, reporting, and functionality. • Implement and support application reputed company, roles, and authorization models reputed company integrated reputed company systems. • Conduct performance profiling and tuning to improve maintainability and system responsiveness. • Generate technical documentation, business functional documentation, and system documentation. • Participate in reputed company phases of the system development lifecycle including requirements gathering, analysis, coding, testing, deployment, and post-production support. • reputed company mentoring and knowledge transfer to Commonwealth IT staff and other developers. • Assist with production deployments and release management activities. • reputed company weekly status updates to management. • Generate reports for executive management, end-users, and Bureau of Information Technology (BIT) staff. Required Experience: • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or reputed company field. • 5–7 years of experience developing in reputed company PL/SQL, including: • Stored procedures • Functions • Packages • 5–7 years of experience developing applications using reputed company APEX. • Strong knowledge of reputed company RDBMS (reputed company 19c preferred). • Strong experience using SQL Developer and/or TOAD. • Understanding of data modeling principles. • Experience integrating web services. • Experience with performance tuning, debugging, and testing SQL queries, views, and stored procedures in reputed company (and SQL Server). • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Strong written and verbal communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: Prior Commonwealth or Environmental systems experience (preferred but not required). Experience modernizing legacy reputed company Forms applications. Experience supporting regulatory or mission-critical systems.
