Card Brand Network Compliance Analyst

Description The Card Brand Network Compliance Analyst is responsible for ensuring that the organization adheres to card network rules, regulations, and best practices (e.g., Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover). This role requires expert-level comprehension and a deep conceptual understanding of card brand mandates to effectively monitor, analyze, and enforce compliance requirements. The analyst serves as the primary subject matter expert, interpreting complex regulatory language to support internal stakeholders and identify critical organizational and product impacts. This role is vital in mitigating risk and maintaining the company’s standing with the card networks. Key Responsibilities • Maintain a mastery of card networks technical and operational updates, demonstrating the ability to fully interpret the nuances of compliance rules and mandates. • Apply comprehensive understanding of card network rules to assure adherence. • Partner with internal departments to ensure products are designed and updated with the technical and operational requirements of card networks. • Conduct deep-dive internal reviews of card brand enhancements and updates to determine business impacts. • Investigate data integrity and non-compliance notices, providing informed recommendations to appropriate stakeholders. • Support the management of card brand compliance reporting. • Collaborate with external acquirers, processors and card networks to resolve non compliance inquiries. • Assist in the review of product development completed for card brand mandated changes. • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of card brand regulations and industry trends. Requirements • Industry Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in the payments industry, specifically within card brand compliance, merchant acquiring, or payment processing. • Regulatory Knowledge: Demonstrated experience working directly with Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express rules and mandates. • Expert-Level Comprehension: Ability to interpret and synthesize complex regulatory language into actionable business requirements. • Analytical Proficiency: Strong ability to assess organizational adherence to card brand rules and identify specific areas of non-compliance. • Reporting: Proficiency in managing card brand compliance reporting and tracking violations or assessments. • Collaboration: Proven ability to partner with internal departments to ensure policies align with network rules. • Communication: Strong interpersonal skills for collaborating with external acquirers and processors on technical inquiries. • Instructional Capability: Ability to develop and deliver internal training documentation for various audiences. • Detail-Oriented: A proactive approach to maintaining up-to-date knowledge of evolving industry trends and brand enhancements Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
