Job Title: Senior Business Intelligence Developer/BI Data Engineer/Remote Location : Remote Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Senior BI / ELT Developer to design, develop, and optimize enterprise data pipelines and business intelligence solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong experience building ELT/ETL processes, data models, and reporting solutions to support analytics and data-driven decision-making. This role will work closely with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to transform raw data into actionable insights using modern BI and data integration tools. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain ELT/ETL pipelines to ingest and transform data from multiple sources. • Build and optimize data warehouse and data mart solutions. • Develop BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations for business users. • Implement data modeling techniques (star schema, snowflake schema) for analytics platforms. • Ensure data quality, consistency, and performance optimization across data pipelines. • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and deliver scalable solutions. • Troubleshoot and optimize query performance and data processing workflows. • Integrate data from cloud platforms, databases, APIs, and third-party systems. • Document data architecture, data flows, and transformation logic. Required Skills • 7+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing, or Data Engineering. • Strong experience with ELT/ETL tools (Informatica, Talend, SSIS, dbt, or similar). • Proficiency in SQL and database development. • Experience with data warehouses such as Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, or SQL Server. • Hands-on experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker. • Knowledge of data modeling and dimensional modeling techniques. • Experience working with large datasets and performance optimization. Preferred Qualifications • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform). • Knowledge of Python or scripting for data processing. • Familiarity with data governance and data quality frameworks. • Experience implementing modern ELT architectures using tools like dbt, Airflow, or Fivetran. • Experience working in Agile or data product teams.
