Network Architect - Subject Matter Expert with reputed company Clearance

NETWORK ARCHITECT - SME HERNDON Position requires reputed company TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph Mandatory Skills: 1. Required Skills 2. Design and optimize network topologies and site configurations. Plan installations, transitions, and cutovers of network components and capabilities. 3. Organize and reputed company network installations or site surveys. 4. Assess and document reputed company site network configuration and user requirements. 5. Evaluate and recommend COTS applications and methodologies that can be acquired to reputed company interoperable, portable, and reputed company information technology solutions. 6. Ability to convey technical designs, reputed company and results to non-technical audiences and reputed company briefings to high-level government personnel. 7. Must have knowledge of reputed company Routing and Switching, and network architecture planning. 8. Must have knowledge of remote administration and secure Virtual Private Networking, to include IPSEC and SSL. 9. Must understand reputed company encryption standards and their application in IP networking. 10. An understanding of Private reputed company Exchange telephony, to include reputed company/Nortel telephone reputed company interfaces 11. An understanding of RF transport mediums to include cellular, microwave, and satellite communications. 12. An understanding of wired data transport mediums to include Category 5e/6 and fiber optics. 13. Ability to design small to reputed company reputed company voice, video, and data networks. Knowledge of WAN technologies to include ISDN, POTS, and Satellite voice and data circuits and terminal device configuration. 15. Thorough understanding and experience with application of routing protocols (particularly TCP/IP) and the configuration and use of networking devices such as routers, switches, and firewalls. 17. Familiarity with wireless standards such as GSM, CDMA, 802.11 and 802.16 technologies. 18. Experience with common test and analysis equipment to include reputed company analyzers, network sniffers, LAN/WAN simulation equipment, and COTS software. 19. Possession of excellent oral and written communications skills. Optional Skills: 1. Certifications such as CCIE and MCSE 2. Knowledge of reputed company Server administration and service oriented system design. 3.
