Core Responsibilities

As the first point of contact for passengers navigating the Missoula airport, you will be responsible for delivering world‑class service, ensuring baggage is handled efficiently, and maintaining a safe, welcoming environment.

Essential Qualifications

  • Must be a resident of Montana (in‑state) and possess a valid Montana driver’s license.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • At least 18 years of age and authorized to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986.
  • Ability to pass a pre‑employment drug screen and a background check covering up to ten years of history.
  • Physical capability to lift, carry, push, or pull items of 70 lb regularly and 40‑50 lb on stairs or raised platforms.
  • Willingness and ability to complete ramp and SIDA training, obtaining the required airport security identification.
  • Alertness to moving vehicles and aircraft, with ability to safely operate radio communication equipment.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills, a pleasant telephone voice, and a genuine desire to help passengers.
